I started my art career training in Inner Mongolia in late 1970, and my painter’s dream began there. At that time, there were no art classes, but my expertise in art was soon discovered by the high school teachers and artists and I received a lot of encouragement and training.  My art teachers, Professor Tumsi and Ms. Jin-Gao, Artist, both graduated from the Center Art Academy of Fine Arts. They opened the door to art for me.

After settling down in Toronto, I have made lots of effort to move forward in my art development. In recent years, I have visited many areas throughout Canada, specifically in Ontario and created a number of paintings that represent the original natural landscape of Ontario. My works have profound ideological as well as regional and national characteristics. I have worked in many fields of art, such as painting using watercolor, oil and acrylic media. I choose painting to reflect our daily life, the people around me and social events.

I have other hobbies, such as photography for landscape and portrait, which helps a lot in my portrait and landscape paintings. I use Photoshop to edit my photos. I have also studied graphic design using Photoshop and other software. I have taught landscape and figure painting classes in private and local community settings and have experience in guiding adult and children’s painting creations. I have pursued international ballroom and Latin dance for more than 20 years and have won awards as a dancer in Canadian dance competitions.
