Originally from Hong Kong, I immigrated into Canada in 1976. Since my childhood I had a deep interest in the arts. Family and careers responsibility have caused me to temporarily put my interest aside. However the past several years l have allowed the opportunity to continue with my artistic endeavours.

I completed several art courses on sketching, watercolours, acrylic and oil mediums at Halliburton School of Arts, Fleming College, Curry’s workshops, Ajax and Scarborough Community Centres. Frequently I am praised by my mentors about my artistic and creative abilities. I am proud of my work and wish to share my paintings with the public.

Through my travels to various countries in Europe. Asia and provinces in Canada I was inspired by the paintings of master’s and the beauty of our world’s nature.

Images and memories collected from those travels and everyday life are depicted in my paintings with warm and calm. I created my own style and since l have a deep appreciation for the nature, the subjects l choose are often landscape, birds and animals. I express my creativity by capturing the nature’s shapes, moods, lights and transferred them into a canvas.

My desire is to bring the same delight and excitement l feel as an artist to the viewers.
