Artist Bio:
My name is Shirley Huang. I come from Guangdong Province, China. I graduated from Guangzhou University of Fine Arts. I moved to Toronto, Canada in 1992. I have been a member of The Art Guild of Scarborough for approximately 20 years. Watercolour painting is my favorite medium followed by colour-pencil drawing. I love nature and enjoy painting landscapes, flowers, animals, and birds. I admire the Group of Seven painting style as well as the Chinese ink painting style. My goal is to combine the two styles to create a new style in my watercolour painting.
