Garry Herridge (Honours B.A., TWS) taught art for the Toronto District School Board for 32 years at Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute, where he was the Head of Visual Arts for 20 years. Besides being a signature member of the Toronto Watercolour Society, he is past president of the Art Guild of Scarborough (2012-2018) and is an honourary member of the Barrie Art Club (which was founded by A.J. Casson). He is also a past member of The Canadian Association of Equine Artists and Supporters.

Garry continues to work mainly in watercolours, drawing and photography.

Garry has received many awards and his artwork has been purchased by such notable individuals as Karen Kain and Gerry Phillips M.P. as well as the Canadian Embassy of Beijing.
