Melinda attempts to capture the detail and beauty not always noticed in the everyday flurry of life. She aspires to offer an element of timelessness and a feeling of spirituality to her artwork. Most significantly she strives to show the innate connection and importance of nature in our lives.

Melinda graduated top of her class from the Three-year, full-time program at “The Art Centre” in Toronto. Her studies included drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, illustration, photography and graphic design. She then worked as a graphic designer, photographer & teacher.

Melinda has taught visual art to gifted children through the Scarborough Board of Education. She has also taught art classes to teachers and students in elementary school as well as photography to adults. For the past 18 years she has focused on instructing watercolour and drawing classes for adults.
