Spring Days

Spring Days, 10.5 x 15 Watercolour on Paper

Hi there, this is Perry Chow, a Toronto-based artist from Hong Kong. My work is influenced by my background in design, and I like to transmit my feelings through my objects, thereby enriching my pieces and allowing my viewers to subjectively feel how I feel. In this way, they can come to a better understanding of the unique meaning of everyday experience, which I call “Impression of Life”.

In recent years, I have developed a series called “It rains…”. These paintings mainly depict the view from a windshield on rainy days. The distorted images paint themselves and become a kind of beauty. As I turn the music on, I fall into another dimension, capturing the same situation from different angles. It is all about how to depict life. I decided to record these moments and develop the series.
