Robert enjoys creating paintings that speaks both to himself and to others about the beauty that exists in Ontario landscapes.
During his travels around Ontario, Robert has found many fascinating locations that have significant historical value. The artist draws inspiration from these encounters and creates incredibly detailed work; even capturing the eerie energy he must have felt while exploring. Robert works predominately in pen, ink and watercolour, generating a more vibrant look with each piece he creates. The works Robert creates emit feelings of quiet solitude and curiosity. The viewer might wonder to themselves, “Who used to live here? Why is this old barn abandoned?” as they enjoy these pieces.
Robert has been involved in shows around Ontario including the McMichael Fall Art Festival, Buckhorn Art Festival, Kawartha Arts Festival and the PineRidge Juried Art Show. His work has won many awards over the years and can be found in private galleries around the world.
