The Memory of Trees, Watercolour

Sherrill Girard is a Canadian artist who lives in Scarborough, Ontario Canada. Her artwork encompasses watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, alcohol inks and photography.

Over a span of many years she has exhibited extensively in numerous national and international exhibitions, including Japan, France, the United States, China and England.

She has won numerous awards from recent exhibitions with the Toronto Watercolour Society, Colour and Form Society, Central Ontario Art Association and The Art Guild of Scarborough, as well as past exhibitions with Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Société Canadienne de l’Aquarelle, Cercle des Artistes Peintures Sculpteurs du Quebec, and private galleries such as Michael Gibson Gallery.

Sherrill also teaches courses and workshops, and is sought after by many art organizations to give demonstrations and workshops for various art groups and societies in Ontario.

Sherrill has studied at a number of institutions, including the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, OCAD University, the University of Guelph and Western University.

Sherrill Girard is a signature member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour and the Toronto Watercolour Society, Central Ontario Artists Association, East Central Ontario Artists Association, International Watercolour Society, the Art Guild of Scarborough, and Le Société Canadienne de l’Aquarelle.
