Susanne Farrow
Front of the Pack, 7 x 7.5 Oil on Board
Susanne Farrow is a clarinetist who works for the Toronto District School Board as an elementary level music educator, librarian and art instructor. Born and raised in Scarborough, Susanne discovered a passion for visual art relatively recently, and for about 15 years has explored a variety of techniques and media, including acrylics, oils and paper collage. She continues to study mainly during the summer in Haliburton, and has been privileged to learn from many instructors including John David Anderson, Kal Honey, Sam Paonessa, Brian Smith and Rosemary Vanderbreggen.
Susanne is intrigued by the play between light and shadow and loves to experiment with colour. She is inspired by humanity and the outdoors and strives to capture moments of beauty in which the two interact.
